Counter-Strike: Сondition Zero Game Online Play Free

Counter-Strike is one of the most popular games of the last twenty years. Valve got a fan-made mod and decided to release a separate game. This has made a start for the series which will become a cyber-sport discipline and the unique source of fun for millions.

Before CS:GO, which occupied the attention of the world in 2012, there were other attempts by corporations to make this product better.

The original Counter-Strike that was developed by Valve as a separate release became a ‘classic’ version in its 1.6 update. But after this there were other parts that some players do not accept as successful. One of them is Condition Zero.

Looking further forward it would be right to say that many mistakes made during the work on this release were taken into consideration while working on CS:GO. So what was wrong with it? Maybe, the main fault that Valve made was the passage of the project from one realizer to another on the different stages of work on it.

Initially it was Rogue Entertainment who were responsible for the development of Condition Zero, but a year after the start, they shut down and Valve were forced to pass the project to Gearbox SW. They have done a really good job, but this time the problem was with the deadlines.

The game promised to be really good, but the work on it was passed again. Ritual Entertainment reorganized everything, the whole concept was changed. This time the release was expected to take place in 2003, but the testing showed this product is not really comfortable to play, so the work continued by another organization.

Turtle Rock Studios returned to the concept of Gearbox and completed it with an improved AI of allies and enemies, which made even single play much more interesting. It came out finally in 2004.

You are probably asking yourself a question – why didn’t Valve develop it? The concentration of the work there was directed onto other projects and the court for the rights to own Counter-Strike. But anyway, this experience was used later, when they worked on CS:GO and that was one of the reasons for such a big success.
